About Guangdong Polytechnic of Industry and Commerce
Guangdong Polytechnic of Industry and Commerce (GDPIC) is a full-time general higher vocational institution directly under the Guangdong Provincial People’s Government, and is one of the model higher vocational institutions in Guangdong Province and one of the 18 national first-class higher vocational institutions in Guangdong Province.
The predecessor of GDPIC is Guangdong Metallurgical Industry School, which was founded in 1957. Now the school has two campuses, Tianhe and Baiyun, with 11 teaching colleges and 35 majors. GDPIC has 640 full-time teachers and 15,000 full-time students.
